About Charpentier
On the southern slope of the Marne valley in the Champagne region, the Charpentier family has been growing wine for eight generations. The “calèche” or open carriage, the emblem of this house founded in 1855, today stands for the duty to perpetuate the skills and values passed down from the generations before us. The exceptional location of the vineyard in the middle of the hills means that they have been able to apply sustainable viticulture to all their plots for a long time. Biodynamic viticulture is applied on 25% of the plots, which you will find in the Terre d' Emotion range.
